Projects

I build small tools as part of how I work. Teaching aids, research dashboards, workshop instruments. Each one belongs to the project it sits next to. Built fast, kept small, shipped before polish.

Battery circular-economy governance

Ecosystem flows

A meta-synthesis of how battery circular economy works, or fails to work, when governance is the bottleneck rather than technology. Five archetypes of how an ecosystem can run a battery loop: producer-led, platform-coordinated, regulation-driven, industrial symbiosis, community access. Twenty-two actors, eighty-six flows, an interactive network.

A working draft prepared as input to the Flanders Make CTO action on system-of-systems governance. Co-authored with Klaas De Pourcq, Roxana Petrevska, Lieselot Antonissen, and Katrien Verleye.

ArchiTrek

Pathfinding

A teaching tool for enterprise architecture. Students pick a starting element and a destination, say a strategic goal and a piece of infrastructure, and ArchiTrek traces the relationship paths that connect them in the ArchiMate 3.1 specification. Explanations are grounded in the spec rather than in a model. Designed for the master-level EA course at Ghent with 250+ students, but useful to any modeller learning the relationship matrix.

Kiosks: scenarios for strategic scaling

Sharing economy network

A scenario-based simulation built alongside the qualitative fieldwork on European community sharing initiatives. The tool models how a sharing initiative might scale under different governance and resource configurations, to support strategic decisions about where the next smart kiosk or library of things belongs. In preparation with Dr. Ben Roelens (Open University, Netherlands).

Ecosystem pie cards

cards

A deck of playing cards for the ecosystem pie model. The cards are used in workshops on ecosystem initiation, where participants assemble the slices to design or diagnose a proposed ecosystem. Built alongside the Flanders Make work on system-of-systems governance.
